Career highlights of Howard Tanner
Howard Tanner served as chief of the Fisheries Division of DNR (then Michigan Department of Conservation) from 1964 to 1966. Subsequently, he was the director of the Natural Resources program at Michigan State University’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. He returned to the DNR in 1975 as the agency’s director.
